What if my dog barks constantly?
We understand that whilst it may not be normal for your dog to bark constantly, a boarding situation may cause different or unusual behaviours. In these cases, extra attention will be paid in the way of different toys and comfort items, more vigorous exercise and more affection. In extreme cases, you may be contacted to provide advice on ways you may settle your dog’s nerves at home.
What if my dog or cat refuses to eat?
It is not uncommon for a pet in a boarding facility to lose its appetite given the different environment away from its human. However, rest assured that we will try our best to get your pet eating, even if it means sitting on the floor offering gentle words of encouragement!
In case of emergency, what is your procedure?
Clancy Dog Boarding Kennels has been double insulated for comfort, but also for protection from fire. There is a 20 metre fire break surrounding the entire facility. In case of a power outage, we have a generator to restore power to ensure we can keep the space climate controlled and the cold food fresh. We are not located in a flood zone.
Will you keep in contact with me about how my dog or cat is doing?
Absolutely! We love sending messages and a photo giving you a quick update on how your pet is doing and showing you all the fun they are having.
